Silver Lining
Yes, there is a silver lining to every dark cloud. After my breast cancer treatments, I've had many setbacks and lots of MRI's, EMG's, NCS's, X rays, bone scans and all those other tests we don't know that exist until we need them.
I've gone through a very stressful period, but have now come a full circle on my colon removal. When I went down to UC Davis for a preop, my surgeon suggested we wait and repeat one more colonoscopy before we remove the colon. Biopsy from the last removal of multiple polyps came back negative. I am clear and free and get to keep my colon! I can't describe the relief I feel. So does everyone around me. We can finally embrace some great news.
Thank you all for love and support. Jim and I are taking a break and we are off to our next adventures to spend winter in Baja and try to recover from all the stress. I will finally be able to resume my knee recovery.
